I performed laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy along with appendicectomy, meckel's diverticulectomy & umbilical hernia repair 6 months back on my father, Dr. V. Brahma Reddy. He is 62 years old. At the time of operation his weight was 106 kg with BMI 35.4 kg/m2, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, sleep apnea, heart disease and back pain. Now his weight is 79 kg and still reducing. His blood sugar and blood pressure are within normal limits even without medications. Sleep apnea and back pain disappeared. Now he is happy and healthy. Happy father's day to my dad.
